Have you ever disappointed by dry bready cinnamon rolls? OMG, why this cinnamon rolls can’t make soft, moist, cloudy cinnamon rolls! Hi, cake and bake lovers, Don’t worry any more. Today I am gonna teach you how to make the ultimate Homemade Cinnamon Rolls recipe giving solutions to those problems. And I am pretty sure you gonna love it. So let’s get start

Homemade Cinnamon Rolls Base

First, I am gonna add dry ingredients together. 3 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour (420g) into the bawl, 1 tsp of salt, 1/4 cup of light brown sugar (50g) and 1/4 cup of granulated sugar (50g), and 1 tsp of cinnamon powder. And then last, but not very much least, a packet of instant yeast (2 1/4 tsp) you need to add. This fast act instant yeast is the same with active yeast. But the difference is the granule size. Instant yeat has smaller pieces and active yeast has bigger granule that dissolves in water. Give the ingredients quick whisk.

Now into the wet ingredients. In a medium bowl, I am gonna add 1/2 cup of sour cream(120g) or you can add yogurt, 1/2 cup of milk(120ml), 1 tbsp of nice vanilla extract (15ml). Now we gonna give a quick whisk. You can put this in the microwave within 2 min. But you all know I am not recommend that. The thing we need to worm this wet ingredient is to make fine environment to the yeast to activate. Therefore I use worm milk. Crack a large egg into the bowl in room temp and 6 tbsp of unsalted butter (85g). You can add this butter into the milk when it gonna heat. Give a quick whisk.

Add my dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and prepare the dough. You can use your mixture with dough-huck. Mix all the ingredients come together. You can see the dow is sticky. But not your finger. Now we gonna neat them. Choose nice clean surface and spread some flow and dro out the dow into the surface. You need to neat it until it springs back to the centre. And it needs to be nice silky. But not lumpy. neat your dow, bring it in and push it out.

When you finish with your dow put it into a nice clean bowl that applies some oil. Cover the dow and let it rest in 2 to 3 hour or until size in double.
For the filing
I am mixing 3 tbsp light brown sugar, 3 tbsp granulated sugar and 1 tbsp of cinnamon and mix it up well.
When your dow make its double size, use again nice and clean surface, and spread some flours and pot the dow and apply same little flour top on it. Now I am gonna roll it down making a nice and thin rectangle. No need to grab real room temp butter and spread nicely all over the dow sheet. You don’t need much. Only need to hold the sugar. Now you can liberally spread cinnamon sugar all over and additionally, you can spread some brown sugar if you like.

Now we gonna do is roll this up. So startup, right of the edge, need to roll nice and tight. Take your moment and make it nice. Don’t get too lose, roll patently. Here we go. To cut this roll nice and even, you can use a knife, But in here I used a thread in every 2 inches also.
So I apply some butter on the dish that may go to the oven and put those rolls by having some space each them. After finishing packing, let it be overnight. Noting gonna happen, But it will rise nicely.
Over a night, Bake the rolls withing 30 mins in 350F (175C) and when the to of the rolls become nice gold and brown, cover it with a foil sheet and bake another 5 mins.

Cream Cheese Glace

In a medium bowl add 2 tbsp butter (28g) in room temp, 1 1/2 cup of sugar (150g), 100g of cream cheese in room temp, a pinch of salt, a tsp of lemon juice in fresh, 1 tbsp vanilla extract and finally 1 tbsp milk (plus if needed for consistency). Mix it well until it becomes a nice cream.
All is done. When the cinnamon rolls were baked, apply the glace top of it. And smooth it all over.

  • 1 tbsp vanilla extrac
  • 2 tbsp butter (28 g) in room temp
  • A tsp of lemon juice in fresh
  • 1 1/2 cup of sugar (150 g)
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 100 g of cream cheese in room temp
  • 1 tbsp milk (plus if needed for consistency)
