Hello, cake and bake lovers, Today we are making a delicate, lava Cake. It is so easy, comes together in less than 20 mins and I mean this is chocolate Lave Cake Recipe. So let’s start.
First of let’s prepare the lava cake container. For that, you can use custard container or any other container that you prefer contend. You need to wipe some butter in the container and now lets tap in a little bit of flow around a tsp, kick around just like the butter and flow meet together. And tap the rest are out.
Cake Batter for Chocolate lava Cake Recipe
Let’s move to prepare our cake batter. Here I used 188 g of nice bittersweet chocolate, that’s about a cup. 1/2 cup of unsalted butter. Alright, now we need to melt this combination. For that, you can use the double boil process. People use the microwave also. But I do not recommend it because you all know microwave is kind of unhealthy for your body. Only you need to melt both butter and chocolate. So make a habit to use double boil process.
When the butter and chocolate melt, I am used to adding 1/2 tsp of instant espresso. It is completely optional. But I love to add coffee flavoured to the chocolate because it much helps to bring lots of chocolate flavour. Let’s give a whisk. When all come together you can see lovely silky chocolate ganache come together. All nice and melt. and yep very beautiful.
Let’s deal with eggs now. We need 2 free size room temperature eggs and egg yolks. The rest of the egg white you can use to make macrons. I am adding here almost 1/2 tsp of salt. I love my chocolate very salty. But if you don’t like for it. no worries, use a pinch of salt is fine. Now we need to whisk the eggs until it comes to the nice, beautiful light lemon yellow coloured mixture. Its time to fall in our silky chocolate. Fold the batter nicely and smoothly. Now we need to add flour. Here I used 2 tsp maybe 2 1/2 tsp of flour. Add little bit by bit and make sure to mix well. Now our batter is almost done. You can see it is like very rich silky chocolate batter.
Container Filling and Bake
Lets pow the batter into our prepared dishes. You gonna bake this under 450 F/ 232 C about 8-12 mins. All the baking time depends on your cake containers. If you use small containers, the time will be 6 mins or 7 mins.
When the time passed take out the cake and let it be cool. And place a plate over it and invert on to the plate. be careful, it’s very hot. Remove the container and give light dust of powdered sugar and you could do anything you want. Even you can use ice-cream directly top etc.
